Alfred Bexon
Private 16149 - Sherwood Foresters
Notts Derby Regiment 9th Battalion
Killed in Action Flanders 7th June 1918 : Aged 27
PERNES BRITISH CEMETERY II. F. 42.
Born Loughborough; Alfred proves to be a son of Frederick and Agnes Bexon, living adjacently in B. Winnings, Blackwell, Derbyshire. It would be quite likely the family moved into this area in search of work among the local coal mines. Alfred however was then husband of Annie Bexon, of Huthwaite, Notts.
